Beautiful Dogs

I love our dogs. I really really love our dogs. They tolerate my baby boy. Maybe because he is always offering them pepperoni. 

My teen was sick this week. Grace wanted to be by his side to watch him. 

As much as I dislike the snow I love watching the dogs run in the snow. Sadly  thy will need to stay on a leash until we can get the new fence built.

Bye Bye Curls

I finally did it, after 27 months I finally agreed he could have a hair cut. 

I am so grateful for friends who can cut hair and not go over board. 

He sat so still and did not say a word. It really made it easier on me to let her cut his precious curls. 

Do you see those curls laying there, just moments before they were on his little head.

Homemade Quilts

I love watching my kids snuggle one another. I love seeing then snuggle with a quilt I made. 

We are reminding my craft room right now so that I can make many more quilts for my children.

Pinterest Wins and Fails

The chocolate Christmas trees came out perfect. I will definitely be making them again. 

The chocolate chip and bacon cookies did not turn out as good. The bacon flavor was not strong enough. 

I actually made them for a friend who loves bacon. So it is definitely a recipe I will work on again.

Dear Jacob, 

   Do you remember saying that you should not put weight on your leg? I am assuming he probably meant you should not fight your big brothers too. Do you remember how you broke your leg?
