Fill in the blank Friday

1. The strangest thing I've ever eaten is... octopus, but only once for my husband and really only to show my kids I would

2. I wouldn't be caught dead.... sining in public, I remember in childrens church a friend actually asked me to move away from her because of my voice. The sad part is I LOVE TO SING, it is so much fun


3. When I am 75 I will.... I will probably still be trying to get pregnant. I hope to be snuggling next to my husband and doing lots of things together


4. If I had to be named after a place I would want to be named... shoot, I can not remember what it is named all though I had a baby there. WAIT, Rothenburg (I think) it is called the Romantic city


5. My name is... Pamela and I have no idea why but I do know my dad wanted my name to be Gypsy dawn. Can you imagine a no make up, long skirt wearing conservative being called Gypsy. I wonder how my life would have turned out.

6. My all time favorite photo is... a picture of my husband and I together when he was in the hospital because I was so scared but next to him I look happy and relaxed. And he is in a hospital gown and a picture of my baby girl in my arms when she was in the hospital. Because she allowed me to comfort her. I remember when she was first placed in my arms, she was about a week old and I had been counting the seconds until they did.


7. If I could afford it I would... take my husband away on a fishing get away with maybe a couple of spa days for me. I would buy him a HUGE boat. I would take my mom to see Kangaroos.

5 Question Friday

1. Do you feel guilty spending money on yourself?
Oh man I do, did you know one time my husband bought me a tennis bracelet and I returned it for a steam cleaner, he bought me ear rings I returned for a vacuum. I have started on my first quilt. Yesturday we went to buy the batting and back piece and a piece for the front and I almost cried when the bill came to $75

2. How well do you know your neighbors?
I have only half met one. When my son was rushed to the hospital this summer a friend came to stay with my girls. A neighboor came over and asked my friend if my husband was okay (my son is 5.10).

3. What age are you looking forward to being? this age, young enough to do whatever I want but old enough to know better. My husband says 40. For the record I am half of 70 this year

4. Do you get excited when the mail comes? Why? oh yes, for a while I was entering lots of give aways and winning something weekly.


5. What is your earliest childhood memory? hmmmmmmmmmmm, finding a strawberry shortcake record player in the closet and my mom telling me it was for a friend and then getting it on CHRISTmas

For the Joy of it

My mom kept the kids over the weekend. She colored there hair and did fingernails and toenails.

Thankful Thursday-things I love

I am so thankful that I have my hero home, thankful that he is spending part of his leave cutting wood so we will have it for the winter. He is a amazing man.

Sugar High

I do not know what to title this picture except maybe sugar high. The girls were helping me decorate cupcakes for a Airmen dinner with some flowers we had in the freezer. I think they ate as many as they used to decorate with.
