Mama Guilt Monday

Mama Guilt Mondays
I did not volunteer my family to be the clean up at church from now on. We are new to the church and I am trying not to take on responsibilities but I also enjoy being involved so this seemed perfect. If you have not had a chance to enter my give away there is still time. Check it out here.

Mama Guilt Monday

Mama Guilt Mondays

I love thrift stores and consignment stores. We live away from any decent stores. Maybe like 35 minutes to Target. There is a Dollar General store about 3 minutes away and I have found 2 adorable outfits for her and can not believe it. I now make a point of stopping by to see if they have anything new.
On another note. I am guilty of being selfish. We make a point of putting the good towels in our bathroom and putting all the old or thin towels in the kids bathroom

Mama Guilt Monday

I have been promising my children more science experiments and we never get to it. This week I finally broke down at bedtime and let them make borax snowflakes. They were so easy to make. I have to get better.
I am honestly feeling guilty because I twice last week I found Grace sleeping in a chair because I forgot to have her nap.

Mama Guilt Monday

Photobucket

I feel guilty constantly because my 7 year old ask me for mommy and me alone time everyday. So Saturday I told her that if she combed all the knots out of her hair I would take her out. I never believed she would really get it combed out without allot of crying. She got it done and we went out for a few hours.
As far as picky eaters. My girls will eat just about anything and if it is something new then bribe them. My son only eats about 5 foods and so the rule is he has to set down and pray with us and then when we are done praying he gets up and makes his lunch or dinner.
I like Mama Guilt Monday because it makes me feel normal. Check out Cop Mama's blog to see what other mom's are feeling guilty about.

Mama Guilt Monday

Mama Guilt MondaysI do not even know why I do this, I never have mama guilt. I am not feeling a little guilty because I was glad a few of my children were under the weather today and stayed in bed all afternoon. I also would never feel guilt for asking my 7 year old to unload the dishwasher and then having my husband telling me that she can not reach the cabinets. OOPS! She did not complain and I did not notice.
Okay, maybe I am feeling a little guilt that we waited so long to tell our kids that dad is deploying. And while it is not my choice, I do feel a little guilty each time one of the children ask if today is the day dad leaves for Iraq or when Faith cries because dad will be missing her birthday yet again this year.
Please head over to Cop Mama and see what other moms are feeling guilty about this week.

Mama Guilt Monday

I have really enjoyed reading Cop Mama. She has started doing Mama Guilt Monday and how many of us have mama guilt. This week mine is short and sweat. I feel guilty that when it snowed I said convinced my kids to stay outside longer by threatening them with chores and school work. I know it was cold but they were having fun and my house was quiet.
