Purex review and give away!

I was recently contacted by Purex to review their new Purex Complete Crystal Softener. I was thrilled to try something new. When the box arrived I felt like I was receiving a very special gift. It came in several different boxes. I was honestly impressed with the ease of this product. No worrying about spills.

Pray for me Monday

Today I come to you with a heavy heart. I have learned some things this week that break my heart and make me grieve for a way things could have been.
I am working on myself and trying to looking closer at myself and not at others.
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
I am reading these verses and wondering how I apply them to my life. I guess I really know the answer but am I willing to do it? It is so easy to say to read this verse and think okay I do not have to understand why things are the way they are. But then when something is put in front of you, you second guess why it would be allowed or why it happened. This week my goal is to concentrate on these verses and not get so caught up in the extras. Please pray that I will be able to do this. That I will remember that we are on this earth a short time and we do not have to understand everything or be in control of everything.

Miscellany Monday

1. This week I learned about the go girl and wonder where this when my husband made me go fishing with him.
2. I learned that a sunset is a beautiful thing, how had I never seen the sunset before.
3. I learned I really want to learn how to use my camera because this weekend I was at the beach with beautiful views and I did not know how to take pictures of them.
4. This week I have some decisions to make that are going to be hard and I do not want to make them.
5. This week I made a chocolate chip cheese ball and I may have to finish eating it before I go to bed tonight.
6. This weekend I went to a fish restraint and at a double cheeseburger.

Military Monday

No new Army news this week. I will say I am missing home. You know I never say home because I do not feel like we have a home. But I miss my home school mom’s from Alabama and I miss my church from Kentucky.
How blessed we are that I do not have to consider one place my home. I thank God that he has put the right people in my life everywhere we go. He knows exactly what I need and when I need it.

Chocolate Chip Cheeseball

Have you ever heard of chocolate chip cheeseball. If not you are in for a amazing treat. The pictures do not do it justice. I normally make this into a ball but I knew I would be traveling. So I just put it in a bowl. The recipe is:
Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

1 pkg. 8oz. Philly cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbs. brown sugar
3/4 cup confectioners sugar
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans (optional)
graham crackers, chocolate graham crackers, vanilla wafers or animal crackers.

Beat softened cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until creamy. Add sugars until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Refrigerate for 1 -2 hours. Place into a ball and roll in cookie crumbs or pecans or grahm cracker crumbs. Serve on graham crackers.
I always double this recipe.
