1. What is your favorite/most unique anniversary/birthday gift from your spouse? suggested by Bel at Being a Better Me I would love to say something wonderful but honestly cannot think of anything. He is not a shopper. I have to tell him what to buy. OH WAIT, this year for my birthday he gave me a book that taught me how to text, you know something you would give a teenager.
2. What’s your first thought when you see it’s snowing (or what would you say if you don’t live somewhere with snow? suggested by Poekitten from Many Waters so excited, make sure I have what I need to not have to leave the house for a week. I love when we are snowed in. I keep the fireplace going and let them kids play outside just as much as they would like.
3. What’s one thing in the past month you would have changed? suggested by Erika from Chambanachik that is hard, it has been a busy, crazy, wonderful year. I think I would have liked my life to be a little more organized. You know things like clothes in closets and things in the garage
4. What was your favorite thing that happened in February? Taking my hero away for the weekend and having time to just relax and enjoy each other.
5. What are you looking forward to in March? The flowers coming out and how pretty the grass gets.

Neapolitan cupcakes

I think I have found a new favorite cupcake. Have you heard of a Neapolitan cupcake? I learned about them at Hoosier Homemade. They were so easy to make. And it was neat watching people bite into them and discover what they were. I will definitely make them again. I think next time I will serve it with matching ice cream.
1. Mix a chocolate, white and strawberry cake mix in different bowls.


2. Pour some (maybe a tablespoon) of each into each pan.


3. bake according to box directions


Seriously it is that easy, now you can choose your topping. I think she reccomends cool whip which would have been better if I was not going to be outside.

1. If I could meet one person living or dead, I would want to meet _my mother’s brother, he died in Vietnam. I have heard about him my entire life but never met him__

5 Question Friday

1. Where is your favorite vacation spot and why? Some place quiet. A couple of years ago we went to Williamsburg as a family. It was wonderful because we everything we did, we did together. We could walk slowly and enjoy each site. I love amusement parks but I love the way we were able to stay together.

2. What is your biggest guilty pleasure? Little Debbie cakes. I love them, I love to stop at a gas station and pick up a little Debbie cake and a mountain dew.

3. What is your favorite fashion trend right now? Or, in the past? I love that leggings are back in. I could not wear them. But, I love putting them on my little girls. They are amazing and make dresses look so much more modest.

4. What are your spring break plans? We are not taking one. We took some time off before my hero left so we need to make it up. Do not tell my kids but they are not really getting a summer break because I want to take time off in the fall when my hero returns home.

5. What baby names do you hate? Hmm, that is hard. I did know a little boy whose real name was chicken. Who names their child chicken?
