5 Question Friday

1. What is your favorite fall family tradition? The pumpkin patch, oh how fun it is to let the kids run and play. Then we bring home pumpkins and I can make all kinds of pumpkin treats. 2. If money weren't an issue, how many kids would you have? As many as my body will have. We do not stop it from happening at our house. I love children, I love watching them grow and learn. I love babies and how they snuggle. On the other hand, I would never tell anyone else they need to have one or ten kids. I think it is a personal decision and you should not have guilt over how many kids you want. 3. If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be and where would you put it? Hmm, I cannot imagine ever getting one but if I do it would be a wedding ring around my finger. That way even when I do not have my ring on it is obvious I am married. 4. What condiment is a must in your house? Ketchup, it is used daily at our house. A1 sauce if my husband is home. 5. How did your spouse/fiance propose? Sadly my husband has never proposed. We just kind of said we were going to get married and then when he brought the ring home I put it on my finger. I have begged him for 17 years to propose to me. Pamela

Random Facts about me

I have not done this in a while. Do you have any questions? Something you would like to know about me or my family? Something about my hobbies? 1. I have blonde hair that is natural. Well really it is not blonde it is white. I use to have red hair and it has turned over the last several years. 2. I love chicken, fried or baked or grilled. I have loved it since I was a little girl. I do not like eating it off the bone but I will. 3. I love helping other people and feel like I am not doing it enough. 4. I am very sensitive, my feelings get hurt easily. 5. I do not know how to dress; I do not know how to shop. I walk into a store and just pick outfits that are pre made or that they recommended. I do not know what looks good on me. 6. I love to bake and could do it every day. I love baking for other people. I just wish I was more confident in my abilities to bake. 7. I have lived in no less than 20 houses in my life time. 8. I can pack a house in a few days. 9. I love moving and unpacking and re organizing. 10. I am married to my high school sweetheart. 11. My first car was a chevette. Gray and old 12. I am a army wife and love the Army life. 13. I have six children and would love to have a million more. Okay maybe not a million but several more. 14. I love Chondra Pierce; she is so funny and keeps me going. I have only seen her in person once and I regret not taking time to actually talk to her. 15. I cannot stand deep cleaning; I will put it off as long as I can. 16. I love to organize and my daughter is just like me. She walks in strangers houses and starts cleaning 17. I am a food hoarder. Okay not really but I definitely have a stock pile and it is not from couponing (sadly) 18. We started using the envelope system last year and I love it. It has really helped me understand what I am spending. 19. I cannot keep a plant alive, I really try but they just do not like my house. 20. I am a people watcher, I walk the track with a friend occasionally and I love it because I love to watch all the people. Pamela

Boys

My children have been gone off and on all summer. They have had a great time but and this is a big but, it has been hard on my four year old. Every morning he wants to know when each child will be back. It breaks my heart for him. Michael has gone to three summer camps so far. He was home over the weekend and could not get enough of Michael. Sometimes as a mom I have to step back, remind myself that we have good insurance and let them be boys. Honestly, I feel so blessed when I see them wrestle together and watch the bond get closer. I love Michael's heart and how much he reminds me of his dad. I find myself reminding him they are little boys and to be careful. Yet the boys keep coming back to him over and over. I do not think I will ever get use having rough and tumble boys. Do you have to remind yourself to let them be boys and relax? Pamela

Miscellany Monday

What a week. First someone found this creature outside. YUKCO and of course they had to bring it in for me to see. My kids had a great week, we went to Monkey Joe's with friends from church and then went to the zoo with friends from church and oh yeah we went to Chick Fil A with friends from church. I wish every week could be like this. Pamela
