French Toast

The farmers market is going well. But sometimes the bread does joy come out perfect. Which means I have extra bread for my house. This week we took the extra banana bread and the wheat bread and made French toast. 

It looks like a ton of French toast but in reality it was only enough to last for two breakfast meals. 

  I have to say banana bread turned into French toast is a wonderful treat.

Scared

This picture both thrills me and saddens me. In this picture you see three of my blessing sleeping together. One of the most precious pictures I will ever have. The reason they are sleeping together makes me sad. You see that little blonde is scared to sleep alone. She is scared to go outside alone. She is scared, no child should ever feel scared. Why is my precious little girl scared you may ask. She is scared because last year someone broke into our cars. She no longer feels safe in her own house. So every night someone sleeps with her. Actually that is not true. A couple of times she has slept alone. She said mom I just prayed all night. I just kept praying for safety and he kept me safe. I love that she knows who to turn to when she is scared. But I hate that she has this fear. I think she needs a big dog to sleep at the foot of her bed. I am so grateful that my other children are willing to love on her and help her feel safe.

Good-Night

Just saying good night. Okay we are on the look out for eggs. I know it is early but still looking. I spend about $10 a week on eggs and cannot wait to not have to do so.

Banana's Anyone

Bananas, yummy, yummy bananas. I would like to say that this is all the bananas I bought today but it is not.

There is a local store that sometimes discounts bananas when they have spots. Today I hit the mother load (who says that anymore). I did not buy all they had because I felt like one of those coupon ladies who clear the shelves. 

 What are your favorite banana recipes? I love to make banana bread and pancakes. But my favorite is to freeze the bananas and then put them in the food processor. It is really that simple a frozen banana and a food processor. It makes the most amazing smooth ice cream ever.
