My dog is irresistible when he sneaks up between my husband and I in bed.
My dog remains positive when my husband catches him and pushes him back to the foot of the bed.
My dog is finally successful at getting his wish when my husband leaves for the work in the morning.
Our dog is looks vibrant when my daughter covers HIM in tutu’s and hair bows.
It is a glorious day when the kids forget about the dog and he can just sleep and eat all day long.

Military Monday

Good wonderful Military Monday. This week I thought I would ask you if you have checked out what MWR has to offer. Did you know they offer things like camper rentals and boat rentals for discounted prices? Did you know that they offer a free pool on Fort Bragg? I am heading to the pool in the morning with my kids. I wish I took more advantage of MWR. What do you like about MWR?

Everything Monday

Today I have a bunch to say and not a lot of time. I am determined to be in bed in less than a hour. So I am going to combine several posts. Things like Me time Monday, Pray for me Monday and Miscellany Monday.
1. First praise, my mouth feels better and my attitude is so much better.
2. My friend is having seizures and could use prayers, I hate this for her. She has a newborn to care for.
3. Today was our church picnic and it was so much fun. I enjoyed praising God in the open. The fellowship afterwards was fun. The best part was the pony rides for the kids. We did not have many children there so my girls got to ride all they wanted.
4. Speaking of a wonderful picnic. Our chapel is shared with the Catholic congregation. After the picnic I took some things back to the chapel to wash. This was right as the Catholic service ended. As we were walking out the door my eight year old decided to rinse her thing of mints in the bowl of holy water. Several of the Catholic members saw her. I wanted to hide under a rock. She honestly had no clue. The problem was there was not a priest there to get rid of the water (something about it has to instantly going into the ground).
5. I am going swimming this morning with the kids. It is an indoor pool that is only four feet. Great for the kids to play.
6. I have started walking with a friend at 5:30 in the morning. I am hoping we motivate each other to keep it up.
7. My husband picked up his sleep apnea machine last week. So far he does not feel different. It does not seem different to sleep with him.
8. My house is a wreck. I have at least three loads of laundry to put away and a couple more to wash and dry today.
9. My friend gave me a gift card to hobby lobby. I am so excited. Do I buy more fabric or maybe put it towards lamps for my living room or maybe something for cake decorating.
10. I just want to take a minute and say thank you for reading my blog. I do not always get to comment back to every comment. I am working on it. I would love to know who is reading my blog. So how about you leave me a question or tell me something about your blog.

Ankle socks are my favorite, knee socks with long skirts when I can find them.
2. Was your childs (children's) name a mutual decision or was it a debate? If you don't have children, do you plan on giving your spouse a say, or do you have a name you MUST have, regardless if your other half likes it or not?! (From @momtodh)
My husband picked out my son’s and I picked out the girls. We did discuss it but not a lot. I actually had a friend help with names too.
Have I ever told you that my dad wanted my name to be gypsy dawn? So glad my mom did not allow that one.
3. What is your favorite type of weather? (From@TheSpunkyDiva)
Humid free, wind blowing, maybe high 70’s. AHH I can breathe but not be cold or hot and the breeze just makes me smile.
4. If left to your own devices, what time would you wake up every day? (From Sandy at "Pardon My Dust")
I wish I could say 9 or 10 or 11. The reality is every time I get a chance to sleep in I still wake up no later than 7. I do enjoy getting up and tackling the day and then going back to bed for a few hours.
5. Have you bought your cemetery plots yet? (From Pam at "Troop Petrie")
WE have, it seems morbid, the guy kind of talked us into it when my brother In law passed away. My husband often jokes that we should have picnics on the property we own.

Dear blog

Dear blog,
Good morning, I have missed you. The thing is I have been beyond busy recently. Yesterday I woke for a walk at 5:30am. Then rushed home and cleaned up my house. Then a friend came over for the day. When she left I relaxed for a couple of hours. Then we headed to church. By the time I got home I was ready to collapse in bed.
Today is another crazy day. I woke up to walk and realized it was raining. Today, I wished I was one of those people who could go back to sleep. So here I am for a few minutes. I am about to hop in the shower before this crazy day happens. I have a 9am dental appointment that is scarrying the bajebes (I know not a word) out of me. See last week I had my teeth and gums deep cleaned and a tooth pulled. Today they check my progress and then tell me what else needs done. After my dental appointment I will take the kids somewhere for lunch. Because, we have about 2 hours of down time.
After lunch I am taking five children to Wal-mart to shop for church. This is going to be interesting because I am on a tight budget which is doable except remember I have 5 blessings with me. When we are done shopping we will run back to the Chapel and organize a closet and label all of the food. Sunday we are having a picnic at church and I am really excited about it. But it means that I am not in my normal kitchen cooking and so I am making list of what we need.
When I leave the chapel I am going to a friend’s house to babysit. This is probably going to be the most relaxing part of my day. The part I look forward to the most.
Then it is time to come home and relax with the man of my dreams and eat a wonderful dinner. I do not know what that dinner is yet. It is days like today where I wish I had a menu planned. Because I would have remembered to set out a roast and put it in the crock pot.
The next couple of days should be pretty quiet. I am going to make neapolitan cupcakes this weekend but that is about it.
So dear blog (and blog friends) I have not forgotten about you. I will be back this weekend. I have lots of wonderful things to talk about.
