5 Question Friday
1. Did you have a pen pal when you were little (or now)? Where were/are they from? more like in middle school, just a friend whose parents separated and she moved away. Then in high school we wrote soldiers who were deployed
2. If you could do a different job for one day, what would it be? Please do not laugh, I would love to work at Target or Walmart for a day stocking and facing the shelves. I honestly would be thrilled to be able to straighten all day. You know you walk away from something leaving it look neat
3. Do you remember your biggest fear from when you were little? being alone, not having enough food
4. What do you think is a waste of time? Why? that silly farmtown I have been playing for hours now. laundry is a waste of time, I mean come on it is only going to be dirty again the next day
5. What is the oldest item you have in your closet? my wedding dress, I am seriously good about clearing things out that I do not like anymore or have outgrown. Well, that would be if I outgrew clothes which of course I never do

Thankful Thursday
This week I am thankful for my baby girl. Two years ago she went into the hospital after having a asthma attack. 15 days later she left the hospital after having a 5 ulcers. This week we had her re scoped to see if the ulcers were still there. I am thrilled to say that not only are there no ulcers but there are no signs of reflux either. So no more pink pills. She is still having a little pain occasionally. They took biopsy's and we will know on Friday if they show reflux. The hospital was amazing Monday. We had to be there at 7:30 and she was first on the schedule at 8:30. They decided she did not even need something to help calm her down. You know, since she was laughing and dancing. They took her back at 8:20 (ahead of time, can you believe it) and by 8:50 the Dr came out to tell me the good news. We left the hospital before 10am. She had no side effects from being put to sleep.

So where have I been
I feel like I have been neglecting my blog. I see my blog as a journal. Something to look at. My husband is currently on leave and we are enjoying every minute of it. We decided not to take a big vacation. My hero did take the kids to the camper for a week and at the end of that week the kids will go to my mom's and I will be enjoying two wonderful days alone with my husband.

My day
Okay, I kind of lied. I wanted to do it today because I will be busy tomorrow but also because my hero was home today to help me and I love working with him.
I want to tell you about this wonderful recipe we have (well pampered chef has). Take a white cake mix and pour in a bowl (no egg or oil or water, just the cake mix) add a can of pie filling. Mix and bake according to package. So today we made a blueberry with white cake mix, cherry with white cake mix, peach with white cake mix, and apple with white cake mix and cherry with chocolate cake mix. And then since I had my hero here we made 150 JUMBO cinnamon rolls. Thank you, Pioneer Woman. Then I made 6 pie shells with egg casseroles and one 9*13 egg casserole. I will also have French toast sticks and sausage. I think it will be enough. Part of the cinnamon rolls are for a friend and part are for my freezer. I cleaned as we went and can now wake up to a clean kitchen.
Do you have any quick and easy recipes? If so will you share?
