Pumpkin biscuits and syrup
This is my all time favorite recipe for fall. I could make these two things in bulk. I know I posted the recipe here before but it is worth repeating.
I like to make the syrup and use on waffles or toast or anything I can get my hands on.
I had a friend come over for breakfast and this is all I served. I calculated that each biscuit is about 100 calories and 1/4 cup of the syrup is 55 calories.
Pumpkin Biscuits
2.5 cup all purpose baking mix (bisquick)
1/3 cup dry milk (can someone tell me how to buy this cheaper)
1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup pumpkin
1 T water
1 1/4 pumpkin spice
Preheat 435
COMBINE baking mix, dry milk, sugar and pumpkin pie spice in medium bowl. Stir in pumpkin and water until just moistened
KNEAD dough 10 times on lightly floured surface. roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness. cut into 12 biscuits. place on ungreased baking sheet 2 inches apart.
BAKE 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. spoon sauce over
Pumpkin maple syrup
mix 1 cup pumpkin,
1 cup maple syrup, I used sugar free syrup
1/4 t cinnamon in saucepan until warm
oh the goodness of these biscuits cooking is amazing.

Pumpkin Dip
I again found this recipe on pinterest but the recipe came from allrecipes. So simple and
great for a fall get together.
1 can pumpkin
1 box vanilla pudding
16 ounce cool whip
mix together and serve with vanilla wafers. I was thinking this would be good on waffles or with ginger snaps. So yummy!

Miscellany Monday
This week is going to be crazy busy. First my son is parking cars at the fair 5 nights this week. So it will be alot of late nights. I am also doing something wild and crazy and honestly I am nervous about it. I am getting my hair colored. Ladies in my family do not gray. Sadly, I must be part alien because my hair has turned white over the last 6 years. I am so tired of hearing how awesome it must be to have natural highlights. I think it dates me and I want my dark hair back. My hair has always been dark red. So this week I am going to try having it colored and see what I think.
Speaking of hair cuts my friend Amber came over this week and cut all three boys hair.
I love friends, especially useful friends.

No Bake oatmeal Pumpkin cookies
I have a blog that I love. A blog that has fed me the last few months. You are going to see lots of recipes from this blog recently. I recently made her no bake pumpkin oatmeal cookies. I actually tripled the recipe.
I have to be honest and say when I first made them I had to re read the recipe because they seemed a little too wet to me. Then I put them in the fridge and BAM! they were amazing. I ate these things for days. Did I mention they only have 26 calories a piece. OH YEAH! can't get enough of them.
So I asked Katie if I could share the recipe with you. Guess what she said YES! Katie's blog is called "Chocolate Covered Katie". I find that funny because it took me forever to find her name. I think my brain stopped reading the blog title at Chocolate.
She even said I could use her pictures which by the way are so much better than mine. But I decided to use mine so I did not feel like I was stealing. The recipe for this goodness is right here
. Please tell her I sent you. Maybe she will let me share other recipes.

5 Question Friday
1. What is your favorite fall family tradition? The pumpkin patch, oh how fun it is to let the kids run and play. Then we bring home pumpkins and I can make all kinds of pumpkin treats.
2. If money weren't an issue, how many kids would you have? As many as my body will have. We do not stop it from happening at our house. I love children, I love watching them grow and learn. I love babies and how they snuggle. On the other hand, I would never tell anyone else they need to have one or ten kids. I think it is a personal decision and you should not have guilt over how many kids you want.
3. If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be and where would you put it? Hmm, I cannot imagine ever getting one but if I do it would be a wedding ring around my finger. That way even when I do not have my ring on it is obvious I am married.
4. What condiment is a must in your house? Ketchup, it is used daily at our house. A1 sauce if my husband is home.
5. How did your spouse/fiance propose? Sadly my husband has never proposed. We just kind of said we were going to get married and then when he brought the ring home I put it on my finger. I have begged him for 17 years to propose to me.
