No Grace we do not pee outside

This afternoon I was setting on the porch when Grace came out to play. She then proceeds to tell me she has to go pee. I said okay and you will not believe what she did. She acted like she was going to go potty right there. I stopped her and she proceeds to tell me
That her and Hope have potties in the back yard
That they pee outside all day everyday
That the rule is they are not allowed to poop in the backyard only pee
At this point I am trying not to lose it, do you remember our story of Hope peeing in the soap dispenser. If not it is here.
So Grace proceeds to show me how they squat down, who do you think taught them this habit, my wonderful husband did. Hope came outside at this point and I asked her about this and she gave me the deer in the head lights look and then said “well so does Hope”
So I decided to go out back and take pictures of where they are going potty, because isn’t that what any blogging mommy would do. So they walk me over to the three CHRISTmas trees they had described and I see 2 piles of branches and pine cones. As I lift my camera to take a picture they lowered their pants. I about died, I was laughing so hard that I worried I would wet myself. I turned around and walked into the house almost in tears. Both girls were following closely behind asking if they were in trouble, if I was crying and if I was okay.
OOH, I have no idea what I am going to do. Right now as I set here trying not to laugh at them and trying to decide how to handle this Hope is hiding in her room and Grace is cleaning up the living room and making sure I know she is cleaning.
All I can say is CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not me Monday

What a week. It has been such a blur that I did not even keep a list to post this week. I do remember a few like how I did not wait until the last minute to go to the restroom and have to leave the store in a hurry confusing my daughters so I could go potty. I know how important it is to not do this to your body and would never wait this long.
Speaking of bathroom talk it is not me who is totally contemplating doing a whole blog post on my new love. What is that new love, it is

But then again I know that is probably a little too much information to discuss.
It was not me who after roasting because I am too cheap to turn on my air conditioner who then left her oven on ALL day by accident. I of course make sure I check the oven when I am done cooking.
Because my husband is deployed to a war zone it was not my husband whose last words to me this week were not things like “can’t hold it anymore, gotta go” or
“my final words to you are I love you”. He would never say can’t hold it anymore because he too had waited to long to go to the restroom. After seven deployments he most definitely knows to make his final words count. It was not me who spent hours thinking about this.
It was not me who first refused to touch the kittens out of fear and then got too hand friendly and made mama cat so mad she has hidden her kittens. I knew better and would never have done this. It is also not me who runs to look at these precious babies every time mama cat is out of the room.
I hope you enjoyed this Not Me Monday. I do want to take a minute to say thank you to MckMama for doing this blog carnival. But I also want to thank her for the wonderful video we won on her blog. My children have enjoyed watching Craniums Ark on my laptop several times.

Mamarazzi Monday

Yes I know this is supose to be about your kids but I have to be honest and say this week my world has revolved around these precious little things. I am sad to say that I took one out this morning to really look at and mommy cat has since moved them and I can not even see them. Mamarazzi Monday

10 things I love about the military

Wives of Faith MilSpouses Rock
Ten things I love about the Military
1. The way my husband looks in that uniform, not just that he is hot because he is. But the way I see the pride in his eyes when he has on his uniform.
2. The support, I never worry that we will go hungry, we will always have a income to support our family.
3. I love how no matter where you live army wives are like sisters, it does not matter if they are a navy or marine or army wive you know they understand what life is really like
4. I love the insurance, after having several high risk pregnancies and then a preemie who spent 6 weeks in the hospital that insurance has more to me than I can explain
5. The opportunities. I do not think I would have ever been able to visit other countries if we were not in the Army.
6. I love that the military allows us things like being able to use USAA, I have never seen better customer service. I do not worry about my money, I do not worry about my insurance coverage .
7. I love the army because well honest it has helped me grow closer to the Lord, I am daily reminded where to get my strength from and where to look for it at.
8. I love the Army because it has made my marriage stronger, it has forced me to become my husbands best friend. To lean on him because he is the one person who will never change in my life.
9. I love the military because it is teaching me to raise strong children who understand change and life.
10. I love the military for the freedom it gives me, the freedom to have as many children as I want, the freedom to home school my children, to shout to the world WE SERVE A RISEN SAVIOUR AND HE CAN GIVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND SO MUCH MORE

I have really enjoyed this blog carnival and met some amazing military wives. It has been such a encouragement to see that others have had the same struggles and the same blessings that our military family has. Please check out there blog to see about all the things they offer to military families.

Letters to my Hero

Dear Rob,
I did something horrible today, I mean horrible and it is killing me. I decided since I was allowed to touch the kittens I would take one out and take a picture. Well it did not go so well. Not only did the cat quickly try to move the kitten back but she then moved them all where I cannot see or touch them. I am so mad. I want my hands on those babies. I want to take pictures.
I do not know what is going on with the kids but I fought with Michael from 4-7 last night to stay awake. He finally fell asleep and then was up 4:30am. So while he went to bed early Faith was up until after midnight then Hope came to our bed at some point and the cat woke me a couple of times. So when I woke up at 4:30am I decided we were not going to church. I took some ibuprofen if that tells you how bad my head hurt and then we did chores and relaxed. At 2pm I thought the day would never end but now I feel like it just flew by.
I did make a new meal. It was a cheesy, chicken biscuit meal. The girls loved it. I did make 6 burp clothes tonight and a few more camera strap covers. The kids are in bed now. I came out of my room about 4 and noticed Michael was asleep. I about had a fit. He is asleep now and hopefully he will sleep all night. I did use a power tool today, can you guess on what? I have a question, how do I make the TV in the garage play regular TV. Even the kids could not figure it out today. We have no real plans tomorrow. I need to go grocery shopping but it can wait a couple more days. So probably just school. I love you and wish we would have been able to talk today. I hope you got some rest and are settled in. I love you babe.
