The Q's..

1. If you were to win an award today, what would it be for? Avoiding cooking the longest, having the most grammatical errors on a blog. no seriously something positive. until 10 minutes ago I would have given myself a award for having all my laundry put away and the house straightened

2. What is your shoe style? slip on sandals or tennis shoes. If you are new to my blog you need to know this. I am a desperate woman who ask one thing of her blog readers (well maybe 2, I ask that you leave me a comment telling me how to improve my blog) and that one thing is that you find someone to buy my size 11 feet some cute shoes because I can not find them and if I do they cost more than my house.

3 Does your car reflect your personality? oh I hope not, it is so dirty that I would be embarrassed for anyone to see it. Like seriously (did I just say Like)when we open the doors things fall out. I guess it is kinda like me. 18 months ago my husband bought us a Saturn relay with all the bells and whistles and now those bells and whistles are breaking. Like me when my hero met me I was thin with all the bells and whistles (tanning, nails, make up, clothes, thin as a rod) and now I am fat, do not even know how to wear make up (but would love for someone to buy it and teach me) and I would not go to a tanning bed to save my life.

4. If you could take over someones body for a day..whose would you choose? that is a hard decision. My friend Kim works out and her body looks good but the other side to that is she is brilliant. She is so smart and knows about anything you can ask about.

5. Love or be loved? this is hard. I love loving other people and to love on them. but to feel loved is the best feeling in the world.

6. If you were on death row, what last meal would you choose? a meal, hmmm I think I would have something else on my mind. but really KFC original chicken, homemade mash potatoes with gravy and my husbands biscuits and chocolate cake with chocolate frosting

7. Have you been on vacation this Summer, if so where? not really, I did go home (WV) for a week and that was nice. We even took the kids to my in laws camper for a few days and it was amazing.

8. What is your favorite food related guilty pleasure? mountain dew, chocolate after the kids are in bed.

Getting to know me

1. If you had to choose a country to live in besides USA (or the country you live in), which would it be? I would give anything to go back to Germany. We lived in a little town called Oberzenn before and it was so peaceful and clean and the people were so nice. The police did not even carry guns. Things were wonderful
2. Which would be worse, wearing flip flops in the snow or wearing gloves in the summer? hmmm, gloves in the summer. I can not stand being hot
3. Fried or Bake and why? baked, because I love to bake. The only thing I really love fried is chicken and I can never fry chicken like it should be
4. If you were an entertainment reporter, which celeb would you love to interview and why? This is hard, I would definitely ask Patrick Swayze (I know spelling) to teach me to dance
5. What was your favorite book as a preteen/teenager? I did not read as a teenager.
6. List your top 3 guilty pleasure television shows. you are not really going to make me do this are? Okay, normals are CSI, Army Wives, Law and Order and the Unit. but the guilty ones are Gene Simmons and that teenage pregnancy show on MTV
7. What bumper sticker slogan best describes you/your attitude/your life? Oh no, this one is bad. but it said " I am sex deprived for your freedom". Wrong I know but it is truthful
8. If you were to join a circus - what performer would you be? In my dreams the acrobat, that would be so much fun. But really probably just a clown

101. I am writing this at 2am because I have a problem, if I am woke up for any reason then I can not go back to sleep for hours
102. I do not like playing outside, like basketball or jump roping
103. When the kids are not with me I love to sing country music and patriotic country songs even if they have bad words, I am so wrong for this
104. I love to color, give me a box of new crayons and I am happy
105. I make my kids clean under there bed and in there closets at least once a week
106. I love to organize events and help run them, the busier I am the happier I am
107. I love having friends over, for no reason other than to chit chat
108. When I get a massage or manicure I do not have the guts to tell them what I like or do not like
109. I make my own laundry soap, dishwasher soap and have made hand soap and dish soapI play games on facebook (sometimes farmtown and now café world) but I am determined not to start anymore as I finish these up
110. I was anerexic for years and now am probably 90 pounds over weight
111. I am loud, I actually told my friends that when I move I am going to learn to be quieter so they do not see the loud side of me
112. I am currently collecting willow tree figurines, to me they are knick knacks but I am enjoying them

81. I have naturally red hair, I once had a lady tell me to cut it and keep It because one day I would need to color it and I would need to know the color
82. I rarely paint my fingernails because I am too lazy to take off the paint when it peels
83. I have one son in heaven and a 13 year old son
84. I have allot I want to write about but honest, I am too lazy too proofread it and what I am trying to say never comes out correctly in my writting
85. I sometimes go a couple of days without wearing a bra
86. I love the smell of gasoline and a good cigar but not together
87. I have 3 girls
88. I love being married to a soldier and it makes me proud saying it
89. I love doing things for other people, I love cooking meals for friends and watching there children
90. I rarely and I mean like once a year take a bath because it is easier to shower
91. I love to sleep alone, I know it is weird but there is something about stretching out and having all the blankets to yourself
92. I rarely wear make up although I love the way it looks on me, I am sure I am not applying it correctly
93. My husband use to run while I rode my bike and we would sing army songs
94. I have sold stampin up and pampered chef and love both
95. I can not cook a meal without using several pampered chef products
96. I always clean my room first because I know if I do not it would never get done
97. I do not enjoy reading books to my kids, please do not shoot me but I do not
98. I love fiddler on the roof
99. I love praise and worship music
100. I love to sing, but you do not want to stand next to me when I do. I actually had a friend in childrens church choir to ask me not to stand next to her

1. Showers or baths? showers, although a nice hot bath and a book always sounds good.
2. Do you have any crazy urges? hmmmmmmm, urges no. but fears. I totaly freak out in the vehicle if someone is too close to me.
3. What is one thing we don't know about you? I have freckles. I am a SURVIVOR of being sexually assaulted my entire childhood by several people.
4. Exercise..love it or hate it? dislike it, actually it is not the excercise it is the sweat. I refuse to sweat and will stop anything if I begin to excercise.
5. Do you think you have a good body image? bad, I have my whole life. I was anerexic and now I am totally over weight.
6. Flour or corn tortillas? Do not know the difference but I do have the easiest recipe to use them to make chips
7. How do you celebrate Easter?
8. Hard boiled Easter eggs or plastic eggs? for eating I would say hard boiled (which I learned how to do yesturday, I had done it before but they never turned out this good)

61. While I do not let my kids watch anything with majic, I love practical majic for the music
62. I wore bikinis growing up, but would never allow my girls to wear them
63. I do not shower daily (SHHHHHHHHHHH that is embarrasing to admitt)
64. I have really enjoyed blogging and wish I spent more time learning the ropes and proofreading what I wrote
65. I have long hard fingernails, but still love to have acrylic when I can
66. My first car was a chevy chevette
67. I enjoy reading no greater joy and have met them in person, is it wrong to say in person michael pearl reminds me of a teddy bear
68. I bought my car before I had a license
69. When I visited my dad he asked if I could breathe in my pants, I was a adult then
70. I love to write out my feelings, and do it in some weird form so no one knows what I am writing about
71. I was sexually molested my whole childhood
72. I do not know what my dream vacation would be, I like to be kept busy but I burn easy (I am white as a ghost) but want to be able to lay in bed if that is what I want
73. I rarely dust my house, I like a clean house but never get to it
74. I can not stand clutter and knick knacks
75. I have a hard time not getting rid of knick knacks, I know I should keep all those little trinkets the kids bring home
76. I have only been to one concert and that was for garth brooks
77. The fruits I love are apples, oranges , banana’s and seedless grapes
78. I can not drink milk since having Grace and I am sad because it means no more cookies and milk, although I will sometimes eat ice cream even though I know I will be sick from it.
79. I only own one name brand purse and it is little and I bought it at a consignment sale for $10
80. I am scared of using knives and do not know how to cut things up smoothly

part three:
41. I played flute and cello in elementary and middle school but quit at high school because of a boy and because I never learned to read music
42. I wear my hair in a pony tail almost daily
43. My favorite candy bars are payday and reece cups
44. I remember laying in my yard and singing on 8th ave (for anyone who remembers that)
45. We gave up paper towels a year ago and have never looked back. Although I do keep one roll around for when DH cleans
46. I only skipped school once (or was it twice, amber)
47. I lied to friends about being allergic to alchol in middle school to avoid drinking
48. I sometimes, no really most of the time sleep in my bra because I am too lazy to get up and re put one on
49. I wish I could go back and admitt to my lies I said growing up, mostly to avoid the truth
50. I went to the senior prom with a 19 year old when I was 13
51. I rarely have all my laundry folded and put away, it sets for days on my couch
52. I enjoy making cards with rubber stamps but case (copy and steal everything) 99% of my cards
53. I love making things like playdough with the kids, but have to wear rubber gloves because I do not like the way dough of any kind feels on my hands
54. My favorite clothing store is cato’s, I love long skirts
55. I scream at my kids, although I work on it
56. I love amusement park rides, and wish DH and I could go to amusement parks alone
57. I was once suspended in middle school for wearing a coat and refusing to take it off
58. I love bed bath and beyond products, lotions, soaps, body sprays
59. My father passed away 7 years ago, he had cancer

I was left home alone at 16 and had a wild party, I did things like cut the grass (writing pam loves robert in it), pulling the ugly vine off the side of the house (along with the paint) and pulling up a bush (small tree thing) that was ugly. I think my mom would have been less mad had I had a wild party

Okay, time for part two of getting to know me:
21. I just learned basic sewing skills this year
22. I have been homeschooling for 7 years
23. I grew up in WV, moved to MD to get away from my boyfriend (now husband) and then to WV then to VA (really MD line) then to KY to Germany to KY to AL to NC
24. I had a ton of cats growing up but never remember having dogs
25. I currently have a small dog but last month we had 2 dogs and a cat
26. I would love to have a saint bernard but honest I am intimidated by big dogs
27. My favorite food is KFC
28. I have a hard time praying when I am stressed but can pray when things are going well
29. I always have a secret stash of money somewhere
30. I love to watch chandra pierce and even saw her in person
31. I love ink pens, cheap ones, like sharpie pens
32. I love scented candles, glade, yankee and woodwick. I like fruity smells better than like fresh cotton
33. My husband and I were high school sweat hearts
34. I love movie theatre popcorn more than I do the movies themselves
35. I never use a towel more than once
36. I am addicted to chapstick and probably have 20 tubes laying around here. I am constantly buying them in the check out
37. Really wish we had a kitten running around but I know we should not spend the money and it is allot of upkeep
38. I love dove deodarant
39. I love michael bolton but have not listened to him in forever

40. My favorite class in high school was home ec, learning to cook and keep a clean house, I also liked business

1. How old are you? this week I will be half of 70
2.Where are you from and where do you live now? I grew up in Huntington WV but currently for another couple months I live in AL and then we are moving to NC
3. What music have you been diggin lately? any praise and worship music I can get my hands on
4. Favorite food(s)? chicken fried or baked. and bannana pudding
5. Single,married, divorced? married, for 14 years
6. Kids? If so, how many and how old? michael 12, faith 9, hope 7 and grace is 4
7. What are 3 blogs you read daily? ooh so many, but i love mckmamma's honesty, i love www.itstwinsanity.com, www.myspecialks.com, militaryfam.blogspot.com because they are military wives.
8. What is your favorite Christmas/Holiday tradition? honestly we do not have very many, something i would like to change.
9. Lastly, if you're a blogger, how long have you been blogging and if you don't have one..how long have you been reading blogs? I started by reading my friends blog and then found MckMamma about the same time my little girl was in the hospital (last December) and finally started my own in March. I love it and now I am addicted
