5 Question Friday
1. What advice would you give a couple getting married? Be prepared. Take your vows seriously, do background checks, make a budget and live by it before your married. Discuss roles, as in who does dishes. Talk about children and how many you want and what happens if you cannot have children.
2. If you could tell your 16 year old self ONE thing, what would it be? There will always be peer pressure no matter how old you old so learn to deal with it now. What you do in high school will make a difference when you are older. Tattoos cannot be removed.
3. What do you do to keep cool in the summer? (AC, windows, fans, swimming, etc.) all of the above, AC and fans and love to play in cool water. I cannot stand to be warm.
4. What did you (or your wife) crave most while pregnant? Honestly, I am so weird and do not really crave food. Actually I normally lose weight during my pregnancy and I am never sick.
5. Who is your favorite TV mom? Why? Michelle Duggar, she is so calm and has control without forcing it. Shows love even during hard times.

I think I should head on over and join in. I love answering questions.
I never got sick with my two pregnancies and can't remember craving anything!
You gave some serious marriage advice, I never thought about a background check, but it's not a bad idea. That is especially good if the couple hasn't dated long before jumping in, I have a friend who is engaged after like two months and I really worry about her. Have a great weekend.
Haha, first off your banner up top is the best and most realistic family portrait I ever have seen. Also, your marriage advice was incredible. Especially, about roles. This is something that I think people don't do anymore and should. They think "roles" is a scary and non-pc topic to discuss. Afraid of what they might hear from each other if they are actually very honest.
In my first marriage we were so young and naive. Roles were the last thing in my mind and yet I spent every day struggling to realize what it was. 7 years later and never could gain one or expect one from him. In my 2nd marriage - or before it - we actually discussed it fully. I knew by then the wisdom of it. But even then it didn't occur to me for my answer to that question today!
Hi ya Pam! So, how does 5 questions Friday work? Do you want other people to answer the questions too or are these questions people have asked you and you take Fridays to answer or ?? Just curious :) Hoping you are having a great day in spite of the car repair ordeal! :)
