He Heard Hannah
I have never done a book review. I have been asked to do them but for whatever reason it did not seem right. I do not want to do something just so I can say I did. When I was asked if I would do a review for He Heard Hannah something was different. It seemed like I was being called to read this book. I could not wait. I had read Lynnette’s blog before. But honestly I had never read all of the bio’s or understood her life.
When I received the book I laid it on the table and kept thinking I will get to it. But something kept coming up. I think my heart was not ready. We were traveling at Christmas and I picked up the book to take with me. The entire trip I was unavailable, because my head was stuck in the book. I could not pull myself from this story. I could not pull myself from the love I was feeling for the two people telling this story.
He Heard Hannah is the story of how Lynnette Kraft and the 911 operator Courtney Becker had their lives changed by Anna. This story talks about Anna's life. It talks about the Faith her family shared in caring for her. I sat reading this story wondering if I would have the same strength and being encouraged. There are two people writing this story. One is Lynnette who tells how she survived her daughter’s death, how she enjoyed every day of her life. The other part of this story is from a man named Courtney Becker. He is the 911 operator who took the call the day Hannah died. He was very honest about his life before this day. He talks about how this call changed his life. How he found Christ. I have so much I want to tell you about this story. I want to tell you every detail. But, I will not because I want you to read the story. I will be honest and tell you that several times in this story I was in tears. Honestly I did not know if they were tears of grief or tears of joy sometimes.
I want to tell you a little about Lynnette in case you do not read her blog. She adores her husband. She has gone through the death of three children (it hurts just writing that). She is passionate about having restored joy through Christ.

Sounds like an interesting book!
One person that inspired me was my former pastor's wife. She was one of the most hospitable, friendly and disciplined people I've known. She was very close to being a perfect Proverbs 31 woman!
This book sounds amazing!
Pam, YOU inspire me! You are such a SuperMom!!
The list is long on who has inspired me and if I would have to choose I would have to say either my husband or his sister. His sister is the first one to talk to me about really having a relationship with our Lord and it is my husband who made me want a relationship with the Lord. Everyday these two amaze me and make me want to be a better person and to follow the Lord on everything.

Hi Pamela...I just wanted to say Thank You for reviewing my daughter's book. She and Courtney are wonderful people and God is doing amazing things in their lives...and through this book!

I have to say three people are inspiring me. My kids who have come through a bitter divorce. They have learned that even adults act in ways they should not, but both of my kids have seen kids at school that did not have snacks and my kids shared with them. They have learned to deal with adversity. Also, my friend, Rich, had taught me how to stand up for myself. I am no longer the passive doormat that tolerates being verbally abused. I am a good person and I don't have to let anyone treat me badly!
I'm so excited that you reviewed Lynnette's book! I can't wait to read it for myself. So many people have inspired me-you and Lynnette, both, through your blogs are a huge inspiration for me to love my family and enjoy life to the fullest. My friend, Beckie, inspires me to always keep a positive attitude. My pastor and his family inspire me to seek God first.
Thank you for your encouraging review of "He Heard Hannah". I appreciate it so much Pam. :)
I have a friend that is going through foreclosure, her daughter bury 80% of hand, totaled their vehicle while on their way to dr., her son fractured hip, she got fifts disease, & fell down steps and broke tail bone. With all this, she still has great spirits, praise God for all and does her best to take care of friends needs without thinking of herself.
She is such an inspiration to know!!!
My Skylar Bylar inspires me every morning I wake up and see her. She so wants to communicate with the world. She is this child who is aching to find a way to break out of her shell. She I admit is my golden child. Could do no wrong. She is so sweet and loving. I am blessed to have her as my autistic angel.
