thankful

I am so grateful to have a amazing husband who supports me and encourages me and well who puts up with me. I have wanted to quilt for a long time but have not had the guts. So last week when I was in Hancocks the lady helped me pick colors and know what I needed to buy. My wonderful husband helped me cut all the fabric out. Then he took me back to the store and bought the backing (he picked it). He helped me for 2 nights to get it put together. He never complained and when we were done he even said I could do another one, although he knows it means I will need his help again. I can not wait to go back to the store to try it again. He also insisted that this is now the quilt on our bed because WE made it together. I am telling you ladies I love this man. giveaways

I'm your newest follower from iFellowship - a day late - but I love making my way through the entire list - even if it takes me a couple of days!

I'm so proud of you and the quilt project. I've always wanted to tackle this - but didn't think I was smart enough!

If you have a chance come see me too over at Living Above MInistries! I picked up your button and added it to my Blogging Friends page!

Have a nice Thursday evening!

That's awesome!! I've wanted to try and make a quit for SO long! Hubs bought me a sewing machine for our anniversary last year. I wanted one SO bad, now, I have no idea what to make! LOL
The trouble is, I can't pick out matching or coordinating fabrics to save my life! Hubs is colorblind and does a better job than me. I'm hopeless!! LOL

Fantastic job you got there! My MIL has been pushing me to quilt with her but I never got the guts yet since I'm busy blogging and doing art stuff for my group's local art show this Fall. I'd like to try that too. How Inspiring!

Hope you'll join my giveaway here(USA residents only)
