He is NOT Turning Two
I have been told this little boy is turning two in a couple of months. I am choosing not to believe it.

Seven Dental Appointments
I love our dentist. It is a small office. The dentist is amazing, the staff is beyond amazing.
They will see all seven kids in one visit. Sadly, he did tell me that three more kids need to see a orthodontist. Hmm, maybe I will get a night job to pay for it. Seriously I would play the lottery if they had a option for free braces.

Lemonade Stands
Lemonade stands. It is a first for our family. Grace and a friend sell lemonade at the local farmers market right next to my booth. I love having her close and watching her.

Puppy Love
Have I told you recently how much I love our dogs. I never wish for our baby to grow up. But honest there are days when I wish he was just a little bigger and understood he could hurt the dog. He loves to look in Howie's eyes but he gets too close.
Howie does not seem to mind but I do. Look at the love he has for his dog. I love our dogs.

American Pickers
My kids love the show American Pickers. I knew they were local but we had not gone to see the shop.
Recently my friends came to visit. It was so much fun to experience this place with them. Sadly, I saw nothing I just had to buy. I will definily go back.

The Arsenal Museum
We have lived here for 18 months and have not visited all the wonderful local places.
So when friends visited we had to visit the museum on the Arsenal. They have the best collection of guns and things to look at. But honest my children spent most of the time in the dress up room.
The thought that this boy could actually wear a uniform one day thrills me with pride and worries me.

Meatballs
Our friend is in labor right now and I feel useless so we are making meatballs. That way when she comes home I will have a meal ready for her.
Faith has asked to cook for a while and honestly I forget to let her. She normally cooks breakfast and sometimes lunch but not real meals. So I am starting to teach her. I love that it gives us time together.
Today is she making meatballs. I love making meatballs. Of course we triple the recipe so we have enough for the next day.
Meatballs
3 jars spaghetti sauce (I have quart size because we use homemade sauce)
1 cup onion (i skip this)
4.5 pounds lean beef (i use half beef and half ground turkey)
3 eggs
6 garlic gloves (i just use a couple tablespoons of pre crushed garlic)
2 tablespoons italin seasoning
1.5 teaspoon salt
I am sure there is a scientific way to make them but this is how I handle it.
pretheat oven to 400. pour a little sauce in the bottom of two pans. mix everything together except the sauce. add a jar of sauce and mix. make little balls and lay in pan. bake 20-25 pans. por remaining sauce over meatballls and bake another 10-15 minutes. Check internal temperature and serve.
We normally serve them on french bread with swiss cheese. The next day we put them in spaghetti.

Cadence Missionaries
We just had a amazing weekend. We had friends from Fort Bragg. They are missionaries with Cadence.
Let me explain to the best of my ability. They minister to military families and singles. They go into Chapels and help. They hold Bible studies in there home. They do so much more than I can remember.
For our family they talked to us, they sat with us in hard times. They encourage us. They encourage us on our walk with the Lord.
They are paid through support from friends. Just like over seas missionaries. Only they are local. They are working with our military families on a daily basis. They are available on holidays and weekends. They spend their Friday nights with single airmen. I do not think I have ever met a more giving couple.
On a side note I wanted to explain the cane Kathryn is holding. Last year she went cliff jumping with airmen and got hurt. She is doing better but will have more surgery in the near future.

Sisterly Love
Hope is Jacobs love this week. He thinks he needs to be in her arms at all times. Honestly he helps her calm down and she helps him get into more trouble.
She taught him how to look out the window at the chiropractor. That way he could talk to everyone walking down the hall. She also allows him to wear a tutu. I know she only does it to annoy daddy. When he is tired he goes to Hope. When he is in trouble he tries to go to Hope.
I almost feel bad that school is starting back soon and she will not be able to devote her day to him.
