No Mama

No momma I did not play in the dirt. No I was not throwing the dirt so it got in my hair and in my ears.

Even after looking in the mirror at his face he still assures me that he was not playing in the dirt.

I love having boys.

Summer Markets

Our summer markets have started. I am not going to lie, we are tired.  But it is going well and I love meeting all the new people.

We are working on new products all the time.

The chiro says to stretch his back. I don't think the chiro realizes that laying in the floor is not easy to do at our house.

Working Hard

I am so proud of my girls. They have worked so hard to raise money for camp this year.

I am so grateful for friends who hired them to work on there farms so they could pay for camp on there own.

It's a Family Business

Jason saw my new book and asked to read it. Maybe he can teach me a few things about how to sell things properly.

Finding the Rocks

Have you heard about this new game. You paint rocks and then hide them around town for others to find.

I love this because the kids are moving around and being creative.

We were setting up for VBS when Jason found on in the parking lot. I love this. So I guess next week we will be painting rocks.

He is not a Lunch Buffet

Dear bugs, this is my baby boy, please stop thinking he is available for lunch.

Luckily mommy has some soothing oils that take away the itch and pain.

No More Dirty Nails

Sometimes they get so dirty that even a bath leaves them with dirty fingernails.  Tonight they were wild and needed to relax before bed. So I put them in the hot tub. And since I needed a thirty minute break this works. I got to set and watch them play in the hot tub.

Here is my safety soap box: we have eight locks on our hot tub and we keep our kid pool on our wrap around porch. I do this because of the pool is in the back yard then I would not allow them in the yard unless I was there. With the pool on the porch I can sit on my swing and relax. Please be safe with water and kids.

Getting Ready for Fall

Farmer's market only has another month left.  I have to admit that I will miss this time. We have been working on restocking for our winter shows and Christmas gifts. I can't wait to share more with you.

A New Playground

I think playgrounds were made to give mothers anxiety attacks. How many different ways can they hang upside down. Honestly it is worth the anxiety to hear the laughter and see them playing with friends.

Our town just opened a new playground. It has to be one of the best I have seen. It is full of things to climb on and explore.

Captain Mowatt's

Recently I visited Maine, when you visit some where you have to bring your spouse home something. On one of the tours we did we heard about this sauce. So of course I chose to bring it home.

I love my husband because he is just plain ridiculous some times. First he put a tooth pick in the jar to taste the flavor. He decided it was not too hot. So he poured almost a half a bottle over his shrimp. When he was pouring it out a pepper came out. Of course he threw it in his mouth and chomped away.  That was not his smartest move. A hour later he could still not taste food.

I love this man but next time I think I will buy him something that is a little tamer.  If I was reviewing this I would tell you that he loved the taste and would buy it again.

Happy Birthday Baby Boy

This child keeps me on my toes. He makes me laugh everyday. He reminds me how much fun being a mom should be. He loves so deeply and cares so intensely. He loves anything to do with farm equipment and being outside. He loves to dig in the yard and help dad fix things. He may be four but he still prefers to sleep with me and lay on my arm. I love you baby boy and cannot believe you are four years old already.

Working Together

I love this man and how supportive he is in our small business. I love how he encourages me and helps me. I am really going to miss him when he goes back to work in a couple of weeks. We are trying to stock up and get ready for the summer markets. I love all the smells coming from my house.

No More Up Chuck

No more up chuck. Up chuck is the one thing that I cannot handle. I have known about this product for many years. Sadly I always forgot to order it until it is too late.

This is a amazing product (no this is not a review), you just sprinkle on the criminal and then sweep it up. No smell, no dirty towels just a broom and a dust pan.

What is the one thing you cannot handle dealing with?

Our Next Build

Labor Day weekend is all about working on new projects. And when working hard you have to stop for a great meal. All this new construction is very tiring when you are three.

Oma Comes for a Visit

It was nice to see you this weekend Oma!

No Feet on the Couch

No mom I do not have my feet on the couch. This child of mine is killing me.
