Grace Update

I am just going to say it how it is. THIS SUCKS.  Grace had a couple of good days. She played with friends, had a sleep over, and went to the zoo with friends. Sounds like a perfect 24 hours. That was until her teacher at church told me that she was in tears in church and that she has been in tears all morning. Yes she has been more clumsy this morning because she is tired.
We should have a appointment for her MRI today. Please pray that it will be soon and that they will be able to help her. Because honestly THIS SUCKS! It sucks that you can't help your daughter, that you see her push so hard to be normal but in the end that is harder on her. She is ten and should not be dealing with this.
For your viewing pleasure I am showing you pictures of how Grace and her friends play. Luckily they warned me ahead of time that they were doing this.
Please pray, Pamela

And just like that they found a appointment. As I type this she is in having her MRI. Thank you for praying for her.

Saying Good-bye

We did it, we dropped our boy off at college. No crazy sobbing as I drove off.
I think I had worked through all of the sobbing part in the weeks leading up to it.
Knowing he is in a safe place helps a lot. I am so excited for what he is going to be doing. He does not start work until Wednesday but already learned that he will be making pizza.
We brought Grace with us and maybe that helped me leave him easier.
I did take a moment to take a picture of his tattoo. Okay, really it is a mark that was left 15 years ago. He was hit in the head with a plastic airplane.  I just enjoy teasing him that he has a tattoo.

jimmyCASE to the rescue

I don't know about you but I love phone cases. We have to have a phone (well in my opinion) so why are phone cases so inconvenient. I want to run into the store with phone and that is it. Only you end up with a wallet and a key chain and your phone. Then you end up loosing half of these items in the cart. It is a pain to deal with. Recently I found the cure to my problem. Have you heard of a jimmyCASE? This case seriously saved me. Not only am I not loosing my wallet but I have a spare hand for one of my many little blessings. You see not only do these cases look fun but they will hold my bank card, actually they will hold six cards. For me I just put the card I need and my car key in it. Then I am off. Have you heard of jimmyCASE? if not take a moment RIGHT NOW and look at the variety of chooses you have. I have a iPhone 6s case that is so it matches my husbands uniform. I know it sounds mushy but it helps me think about him. Okay, it reminds me not to spend a ton when I see my card. Totally joking. I have to mention a couple more things about my new jimmyCASE before I loose your attention. The elastic on this case is amazing. You can tell it was not put together quickly. I do not have to worry about it stretching out. Most importantly there is no flap to get in my way when I need to answer my phone.

New Paint

I am so excited. I know these pictures are horrible but I had to share. We have a wonderful big dinning room table but sadly we have 12 different chairs.
With seven kids our chairs have broken and been replaced. So this week we decided to strip all twelve chairs and re paint them. I wanted the colors from my living room carpet to fade into my dinning room but match the dishes we use.

Originally I thought about doing bright colors and making it fun but then I realized that it would get old in a year.
I am super excited to see how they turn out. Next I need to decide what color the walls should be.
