I told Hope to come inside and she said she could not because she was counting the bricks. And I thought I was the only OCD person in the house.

Grace

Grace is on steroids and was up before up before us and has not stopped moving or talking since. She dressed herself this morning. The shorts are bathing suit bottoms.

Faith asked me for a cookie and i said no. She went to spit out her gum and came back into the living room and said "I almost stole a cookie but i did not". I love this child, she not only did not steal the cookie but told on herself. I think i will give her that cookie.

I did not rush my kids out the door and forget to check there clothes.
I did not notice faith had her dress on backwards.
I was not relieved when I realized her dress dirty on the back now and no one would notice. I am a better mother than that.

cards

I am trying to get ready for our move and I am trying to use the things I enjoy more often. I have enjoyed making cards for several years. Today I went through all my cards and made up 30 Thank you gifts for all of the people who have worked with my children this year. I was in tears several times looking through the cards. I remember working on Rob with one of these cards until after midnight. I remember the classes I was at when I made some of these cards. I remember who taught me to make the card or who I swapped cards with.
I was able to down size from 2 to 1 file cabinet. I decided it was time to get rid of all my old idea books and all my card fronts and all my paper work. I am hoping now that things are more organized I will be able to work on getting in there and working (making cards and scrapbooking) more often. I still have several things to do in the office but for now I am enjoying the fact that I have lots of goodies to give to friends.

Fast forward five minutes, I am looking at my freshly groomed dog to see if they did a good job and realize grace is feeding him her lolly pop. I wonder why I paid him to be groomed.

The conversation in my house is always interesting. This is what just happened. Grace is running through the house, robs says grace do not run with scissors. I said did you take the scissors. Rob said oh that would be a good idea. I do love this man

Sunday morning I woke up and Hope said look mom, my tooth. When she woke up it was in her mouth. I was so excited, becaue I can not stand pulling teeth

sleepovers are fun

Faith had a sleepover last night and they had so much fun. I have whited out the little girls face because she I did not get permission to put her on the blog. We started out sleep over by taking a trip to the commissary to pick up frozen pizza and desert. Then we came home and had pizza and for desert they had mini pies with marshmallows and chocolate chips. You take a mini graham cracker crust and put marshmallows and chocolate chips or whatever other snack you like and bake at 350 for 8 minutes. It tastes just like a indoor smores.





This morning we made pancakes and then they made flubber. It was so simple to make it. Grace decided to taste the glue and then I had to stop her from tasting the flubber. We did not get a chance to make play dough. Maybe next time. We did go back to the playground this morning. Ooh before I forget the sweetest thing ever happened last night. I let Grace sleep with me last night and she rubbed my back until she thought I was asleep. It was so precious. After the playground the girls were hot and red faced so I decided what better way to end a sleepover than to have ice cream for lunch. The little girl that stayed with us said that was crazy.

How is the best way to end a sleep over you asked. Give the guest ice cream for lunch. Our guest told me ice cream for lunch is crazy.

Who takes there kids to the playground at bedtime. The mother who let them make pie with grahm cracker crust and marshmallows and chocolate chips and m&m's for dessert. The mother who knows they are excited to have friends over for a sleep over. Pictures will come later.
