I took the kids to the pumpkin patch on Friday for my beautiful girl Hope's birthday. Really we just went to buy pumpkins not do any of the fun stuff and ended up joining a field trip. I was a little upset that my precious birthday girl had not fixed her hair and then I saw the wind blow through that hair and realized how blessed I am.

Last week was Grace's birthday. She wanted her brother get a hair cut so he did not look like a shaggy dog and she wanted a trip to Foodlion. So on her birthday she got to take her brother for a hair cut and her daddy took her to Foodlion to grocery shop

So I know this is not my kids but this is so cool. This weekend we went to the zoo. It was a beautiful day. The animals were up and moving around. When we got to the lion cage he was gone. So I looked over the rail down into his cage and there he was. I love these pictures because he is eating and then it is like he saw my flash and gave me a warning look and then went back to eating. I have more to show you about the zoo later this week.

There is a wonderful lady at our church who asked if she could shop for my girls at yard sales. I of course said yes please do. I am so thrilled to have her in our lives. Hope loves her new outfit and the smile on my friends face when she gave it to us shows me we are both blessed.

Yeah, Yeah, I know this is not my child but my hero. I just could not wait to show you. My hero and I spent last weekend ALONE. It was his dreamed weekend. We fished and slept in a camper and fished and fished and oh yeah we fished. Then he did the zipline.

My husband is off on block leave right now and one of his favorite things in the world is to go fishing. So my babies have been spending lots of time with dad fishing.

I know it was wrong to keep taking pictures of her since she was not happy. But you have to know Grace. She is crazy shy one minute and crazy friendly the next minute. By the end she was singing and dancing with the best of them.
