Red Writting Hood

This week was easy, what am I thankful for? I have so much to be thankful for and try to remind myself of this daily.
I am thankful that my mom is still alive and is healthy and is there every time I call.
I am thankful to an amazing husband who serves out country without thought of himself. I am thankful he has put up with me for almost 20 years, thankful he can fix anything and is willing to help me anytime I ask.
I am thankful for my children who keep me young and keep me laughing. I am thankful they are healthy and happy and have everything they need and that they do not ask for much more.
I am thankful that I live in a country where I can praise God with no fear. I am thankful that I have a God who forgives me daily for all that I do. That he loves me even when I do not feel worthy.
I am thankful for the internet, I know that sounds silly. But, when we had a preemie I had found several women who could guide me and encourage me. When my hero is deployed I have been able to find ladies who are going through the same feeling.
I am also thankful for my animals. We currently have a dog, cat, 2 gerbils and 2 guinea pigs. I love the way they make my children smile and the way they wake me in the morning. I love the way they make my house smell so refreshing or not.

Let's see I have a new purse from my friend Melly. I love the size and the amount of space it has. I love that it goes with anything.
Okay first I have my wallet, that is in major need of being cleaned. Business cards although really they are used to give someone my info. A snickers bar because you never know when your be hungry. Prism gum I bought for a little girl at church who shared her gum with my girls last week. Ink pens because I am addicted. The red one is supose to be for your Bible but honestly I never use it. Fabric samples from my last sewing project. And the best is the pink book, it is a small photo album that I use for gift certificates and store cards.


This is my organization, my calander for this year, for next year and a place to hold all of the Awana bucks the kids get. I write there name on the back so we remember whose is whose. which is probably not smart because they want to re use them. Reciepts and a little notepad.


This is a very special picture, it has the diaper I keep with me all the time. It was the diaper my daughter wore when she was first born, let me explain that that diaper stretched out as big as it will is not as big as a dollare bill. It reminds me of where we came from and how much God has blessed us. Then there is a family picture from 7 years ago. I love this picture but it is the only one I have and I can not make a copy. It makes me sad that I can not put it on my wall. Oh, you see there is a pink and blue brain, well that is to remind me that my husband and I do not think the same and I should just accept it.
