Wordless Wednesday

So I wanted a few pumpkins to cook and freeze because it is cheaper and yummier and well I love doing it. Was I satisfied with the four pumpkins my children brought home? NOPE, I found someone who made me a wonderful deal. I got these pumpkins for $4 a piece. Last night I weighed them and I have 195 pounds of pumpkin. Any idea how much pumpkin that will make? Do you have any pumpkin recipes I can try out?

Music Monday

Okay, I know this song does not go with the Pam you see on my blog but I think it is hilarious. Degrading but hilarious because my husband set it as my ringtone for when he called. It was on there for months before I made him take it off. Can you imagine setting in a room of conservative homeschool mom's and this song start playing. Or even better being in a marriage Bible study and seeing hearing this play. I felt like I had to stop everything and explain he did this not me.

Military Monday

I thought I would tell you a few things about our military life in case you are new to my blog.
1. My hero has been in the Army for 18 years, I thought it was only 16 years until yesterday when he corrected me. Where did I loose 2 years.
2. We are currently stationed at Fort Bragg and have beeen here for 9 months.
3. He has been deployed 7 times
4. This week my hero will take his pt test AGAIN for Airborne school. Please pray we can put this time in our life behind us.

miscellany Monday

1. This week my baby girl turned 8, I can not believe it. She is my bug collector, outdoor playing, princess dressing baby girl.
2. This week my husband turned 39, and for some reason I thought he was turning 40 which would not be a big deal if I did not have the same thought last year.
3. This week was our turn to cook for Sunday morning church (about 60-75 people), this would have been not been a problem but then I volunteered my husband to teach childrens church
4. This week we had temperatures in the 80's and in the 40's, this is just plain crazy.
5. We are doing "Laugh your way to a better marriage" in small group and we are both really enjoying it. I am tempted to spend the money to go see him in person in a couple of weeks.

Mamarazzi Monday

I took the kids to the pumpkin patch on Friday for my beautiful girl Hope's birthday. Really we just went to buy pumpkins not do any of the fun stuff and ended up joining a field trip. I was a little upset that my precious birthday girl had not fixed her hair and then I saw the wind blow through that hair and realized how blessed I am.
