A Day at the Beach

Today we went to the beach. It was wonderful. Maybe 90 degrees and mostly cloudy. It took close to 3 hours to get there. We only stayed about 2 hours because we burn easily. I am telling you my husband is the human weather monitor. If he says it is going to rain you better seek shelter. As soon as he said it was going to rain we packed up. It was not three minutes after we got everyone buckled and pulled out it started raining.
Here is how the day went. We arrived at the beach and Grace quickly decided she was not going near that water.
My hero on the other hand thought she would be okay if he carried her out into the water. The whole time she kept pointing to the sand and telling him no that she wanted to go the other way. Then he put her on the boogy board and she refused to let go.







Hope was the saddest when we left. She however was not thrilled with the taste of the salt water. YUCKO!!
