1. The best part of October was turning off the AC and not turning on the heat. Opening windows and airing out this smelly house. Woo hoo! I love hearing the birds, I love feeling the breeze.
2. The worst part of October was my hero being gone for two weeks. Which meant he missed Hope’s 9th birthday and his 40th birthday. That is so not fair!
3. For Halloween, I’ll be hiding out in my life. Wishing the holiday did not exist. Wishing that people would not make it so scary.
4. I hope that in November bring really cold weather because I am not ready for it. I do not want to turn on the heat and bundle the kids up to play outside!

1. The best thing I did all week was keep my laundry caught up so I can pack for our weekend getaway.
2. Cool air make me super happy.

3. Pets are stinky, expensive, fun and cuddly and keep my children occupied .

4. My God is the best thing about my life.

5. With the cooler weather I am looking forward to evening walks, baking without it heating up the house.

6. Something that's on my "wish list" right now is a pair of knee boots. I have only found one pair and oops they got thrown away in a hotel. It is not fair because it is hard to find decent boots for a size 11 foot. .
7. This weekend I am going to take lots of classes about marriage, go on a date with my husband and son. Be in a car with 6 kids for 8 hours.

7. A funny thing happened the other day... I keep a 2 year old during the week. I obviously change her several times a day. The other day I was changing her and Tom came up and looked at her (I had no idea where he was looking) and said “where’s your pee”. She had no idea what he was talking about. It made me giggle that after being here 12 weeks he just noticed. She is now changed in my room.

1. I always refuse to admit that I am a good mother, I know it sounds weird but I have a list of failures and need to give them up.____
2. I won’t eat _any vegetables that do not include the words green and bean. It is wrong I know. I try to convince myself that potatoes are veggies but no one will believe me.___

I would like to hang out with _oh so many people, a real missionary in Africa so I can understand better, a soldier in Africa, I would love to hang out with MckMama for a day and just talk, I would love to hang out with my high school home ec teacher for the day in her classroom, I would love to hang out in a amusement park with my hero for a day.
4. I would like to learn how to _make real clothes, decorate a real cake, give myself a pedicure. I can do it all but need to step them all up and finish what I start. _________

1. One thing that is completely superfluous, but that I could never give up is not a word in my vocabulary and has to be looked up. Okay, the thing that is superfluous in my life is my mountain dew. I keep saying I want to get off the green juice.

1. One of life's most simple pleasures is a ice cold can of mountain dew and a honeybun setting on my porch early in the morning .
2. Waiting on hold for elevendy billion years when I call to make a doctor's appointment makes me want to drop my six sick children at their desk and walk away.

1. My idea of pure perfection would be my husband home, I love when he takes time off work. I wish he could be home full time, we are so much closer when we have every day to spend together .
2. Children make the world go 'round.

3. If it weren't for bills and needing a house I'd convince my husband to retire and spend every day hanging out with my man. .

4. Bloggers are are educational, a family, fun to be around, a riot, the friends that you know are always there for you. This actually happened several months ago, I was being bashed for something by commenter’s and before I could cry other bloggers stood up for me.

5. If I had a million dollars I'd buy you I would buy my mom and mother in law a new car, I would make it so they could retire and enjoy life..

7. Something I'm excited about is the fact that there are 8 school boxes setting next to my front door waiting on my to dig into them and unpack them. This is the longest I have ever been able to not open a box.

1. My go to outfit for a dress-up occasion like a wedding is hard, I would say a black skirt with a nice shirt. Nothing special, I have said a million times that you my bloggy friends need to turn me to “what not to wear”. Just give me 6 months notice. .
2. This week has been emotional, between no AC and my hero being away, and 2 clogged toilets and lots of behaviors going on it was just a emotional week.

3. When its dinnertime and I'm feeling lazy I'll usually eat cereal, I love it. I normally feed the kids corndogs.

4. My favorite pair of shoes is a pair of black dressy heels, and by heels I mean small heels. I never wear them because they are hard to walk in.

5. A random item that I own that is completely unnecessary, but that I could never part with is the draft that my husband drew for us in high school of our dream house. Even looking at it today it would be perfect. So funny that even today with 6 kids it would fit us perfectly.

6. My favorite person My husband who lets me cry on his shoulder even when it is silly things, I love him because I feel safe in his arms .

1. My favorite color is purple is what I say but when I buy something I lean more towards that light green color or maroon. I am currently loving anything that is antique red white and blue.
2. My travel destination of choice is a amusement park with my husband alone where we can act silly and ride all the rides a million times, then spend our nights in a log cabin out in the woods. Now if we are talking about living I would love a big farm with land for my children to run and play and maybe some chickens and a beautiful garden.

3. My favorite food is KFC chicken and biscuits, my mother in laws mac-n-cheese and banana pudding.

4. My happy place is the kitchen when I can bake for friends and family. Sometimes it is the corner of my couch, I have a spot and my laptop is next to it so I can take a quick peek without setting all day.

5. My favorite saying is children are a blessing, debt is a curse.
6. My dirty little secret is that I only wash my hair like twice a week. Sometimes once. If it gets 3 washings, it's been a banner week. Dry shampoo is my secret weapon .
7. Something friends might say about me is that I love to help someone, am a good listener, is that I dislike laundry. Honestly, a friend said I was judging her this week and all I can say on that one is OUCH, I try so hard to not be judgmental so this was really hard especially with her.

1. One of my happiest moments ever was taking my baby girl home from the hospital, after weeks of wondering if she would even be born and live and then weeks in the hospital it seemed she would never be able to come home and be MINE, watching my children accept Christ, the light in their eyes. When the understanding hits them and the lights come on it is amazing.
2. Summer is wedding season and weddings are on my mind. Last night my husband and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. Weddings are beautiful, refreshing, encouraging.

3. This summer Has been life changing and there is not much I would change about it. This summer is H O T hot!

4. My summer food of choice has been McDonald’s ice cream cone, I am kind of majorly addicted.

5. My summer uniform has been typical long skirts and a t-shirt or polo, not much different than my winter uniform. Although I am wearing more Capri’s .

6. If I could spend the entire summer in one location I would choose The beach, with my hubby. Just relaxing and watching the kids play with my hero .

1. My plans this summer include getting the house organized and getting use to our new normal.
2. The best summer I ever had was all the summers I went to church camp, they always made the boys and girls practice etiquette. So the boys opened the doors for us.

3. Summer is popsicles, letting the kids stay up a little later, Saturday morning fishing, baking fun cakes and more popsicles.

4. My favorite summer food is ice cream, McDonalds ice cream to be exact.

5. The best way to quench a summer thirst is with a frozen mountain dew slushie, hard to find but when I do it is AHHHHHHHHHHH!!

1. The best news I ever received was that I was pregnant, I love children and feel like I am being blessed each time I see those pink lines. Children are a blessing and I will never take that lightly.
2. Something I'm looking forward to is my husband having the next two weeks off. We are shopping for a vehicle that will fit our whole family and just relaxing and loving on one another.

3. Something I would never do is own birds, I am taking care of my friends birds and all I can say is THEY ARE MESSY. We are sweeping several times a day. I would birdset again because they are fun to watch.

4. If I could choose someone to be my life coach (famous or not, living or dead), I'd choose could we combine Beth Moore and Dr. Phil.

5. If I had to put a label on my style it would be survival, I really wish I dressed better. I have begged anyone who knows me to turn me into what not to wear. I am in desperate need of some help.

7. I want to bake, I have not really baked in a couple of weeks and the itch is getting to me. My oven is lonely and calling my name. Sadly the oven lock I bought does not fit and I am too tired during nap time or I just want to take a shower.

1. The last thing I ate was SH, do you promise not to tell. I ate a little Debbie honey bun cake. It has been calling my name all week from the cabinet but I could not find time to eat it without the blessings seeing me. This morning that time came. I regret eating it because my allergies are acting up so it was not that tasty and it was a waste of calories.
2. The next thing I'd like to eat is a hardee’s biscuit. But really I am making oatmeal for the blessings.

3. The best things are when you work for them. Are unexpected gifts from friends. When someone tells you that you are doing something right.

4. Something that makes me supremely and utterly happy is when Jerry says OH OH, he smiles so big and it melts my heart or when my girls take Jerry and go in his room and play.

5. Sports are a wonderful form of exercise that no one in my family is currently doing. While I have enjoyed soccer and baseball and fencing and tae kwon do, I am glad we are just enjoying being a family.

6. I miss my husband and son. They will be home in the morning. I know they are where they need to be and I would not change that for the world but I miss him need him to hold me and tell me he is okay..
7. Right now I am watching Faith and Tom play quietly in the floor together. The bond that is being built is so much fun. I could watch them for hours.

1. This weekend I'm going to sleep, I have not been feeling well recently and I am going to enjoy my hubby being home, we have missed him and he has just got home late last night. .
2. My last vacation was visiting my mom and then bringing her back home with me. It was fun to watch her play with the kids .

3. My next vacation will be I have not even thought about it. My hero is taking 2 weeks off in July and honestly I think we are going to just hang out at home and relax. It seems like we are always on the go when he is home so this will be nice to just relax .

4. My favorite way to relax is to set on my couch while the kids eat lunch, the kids know we are getting back to school so they take there time and giggle and talk. My favorite way to relax is to set on my front porch during the rain. It is so relaxing .

5. When vacationing one should always take your time, enjoy the moment, take a ton of pictures, and take time to relax, go someplace fun and not always to just visit family.

6. When vacationing one should never have to worry about money, over plan and be on a strict schedule. Just go with it and have fun. And of course you should never forget sunscreen .
7. The best part about a vacation is coming home to a clean house. No seriously I love when my family is together. I love how all the sudden everyone gets along and wants to be together. I love hearing my kids giggle together.

1. If I could get away somewhere for the weekend I would go to a amusement park and I would bring I would love to say my kids and hero but honestly I would give anything to have time away with my hero.
2. Something I often rant about is Oh man this is hard because I had a rough week and would love to set here and gossip. But instead I am going to be a adult and complain about my husband having to give up half of his 4 day weekend to go to a conference for the Army. Not only that, they had him work until almost 8pm last night. I am mad that my husband is home this holiday weekend and he still is not home.

3. One item I need to have in my fridge at all time is apples, my girls eat a bag of apples a day, I also always keep yogurt because it is a great snack for them.

4. My "life-saving" product is the comb I use on my hair, seriously if I ever find it at a store I will buy ten of them. It is a square pic, long and narrow. Only instead of thin plastic it is super thick. It is amazing and does not pull my hair.

5. A friend is someone who stays with you no matter what, who listens to you when you tell the same story day after day. Who does not listen what other people talk ill of you. Who tells you like it is when you are wrong. Who would clean your house when you can not

1. Something that makes me a great friend is, being there for a friend even when it is not convenient for yourself, keeping what they say as a precious treasure and not a tool to use against them later. Supporting them in trying new things even if it seems crazy.
2. I am a addict, I have to start my morning with mountain dew even if I have energy. I love the taste, the smell and the way it feels going down. .

3. I am not a deep cleaner, I love to organize but always have dirty floors and dust flying around .

4. If I had to describe myself in 3 words, they would be moody (“OUCH”), available and loved .

5. Something I'm really cheap about is clothes, I want my kids to fit in but I can not handle name brand prices. Laundry soap, I cannot imagine paying for laundry prices when I can make laundry soap for 18 cents a gallon .

6. Something I'm willing to splurge on is My nails, it is my new love. I have had it before but am back to it. I love to look down and see pretty styled nails .
7. I would trade my stampin up stamps for about anything, I have not used them in a year. I have a desire but no time. I do not have the guts to sell them or even let my kids use them but if I could trade them for something I would without guilt.

1. The best prank I ever pulled was I watched a friend’s kids last summer while she and her hubby were in Hawaii. She brought me home a fertility statue. In case you were worried I did not believe. So 2 weeks after my husband came home I took a pregnancy test which of course came out negative. So I took a pink pen and drew in a second line. Then put it in front of the now positive test and took a picture and sent to her. No problem and she totally fell for it. The only problem was she did not tell me I was on blue tooth in her car which meant her daughter heard our conversation. I can lie to a adult but felt terrible for lying to a child.
2. The best prank ever pulled on me was I can not remember being pranked.But, I remember thinking I was being pranked. My husband came home from Iraq and we went to Disney. Then we decided to remodel our kitchen. We replaced counter tops and dishwasher and stove. I know would have my double oven, painted cabinets and faucets. When my hero thought we were completely done I decided I wanted to do one more thing. He sent me to Lowe’s for a new tool. While I was there he called me and said We are moving, I just checked my e-mail. I thought he was joking and refused to believe him until I got home and checked his e-mail. .

3. A day without a hug from one of my children is a day wasted.

4. The most important things in life are the things that can not be replaced, a hug, a smile, a kind gesture. A meal with my husband without little people around. I talk with a long lost friend .

5. I dream of a vacation with my husband. Someplace where I can shop, he can fish but yet far away from the world. I dream of living far out in the country with no neighbors and having lots of chickens and horses and someone else to take care of them.

6. I dread going to the dentist. You knew I would say that, didn’t you. I hate it, it scares me and causes huge anxiety.
7. A discovery I made this week was that Scentsy has a ton more fragrances than I knew about and I am so in trouble if I have a show.
