5 Question Friday

1. Have you ever had roommates? No, well maybe, you see after I lived on my own for about a year my ex-boyfriend called me out of the blue. By the end of our 8 hour talk he decided to come for a visit. He arrived on a Friday with the understanding he would sleep on the other side of the house. By Monday afternoon he had a full time job and the rest is history.

2. How many names do you/your children have? (i.e. Prince Charming William Phillip Arthur Louis John Jacob Jingleheimer-Schmidt) not really a name person. I call Hope, Hoper. And Grace Gracie but that is it. I was called Kool Aid lips in middle school. And the wonderful kids I grew up babysitting called me Goo Goo and they still do to this day.

3. Did you watch the Royal Wedding? I did not plan on, had no plans to do it, but then I woke up and turned on the news as she walked down the aisle. So beautiful.

4. What is the messiest room in your house? My bathrooms, how gross are that. It drives me batty because my kids are always having a toilet paper party there. They are also using countless bottles of shampoo a day to make creations. If someone visits I have to ask them to wait while I run and check the bathroom before they use it. Drives me batty!!!

5. What is your idle Mother’s Day? I have no idea? I have asked for clean bathrooms and kitchen floor but I doubt it will happen because we have a busy Saturday. I just really wish I got a gift that said Happy Mother’s day instead of I got this at the PX when you were not looking or I took the kids to the Dollar Tree to get you something you have no use for. I do not expect or want something expensive but something that has some thought. We do not really have time for breakfast in bed or anything like that. Plus the mess afterwards would make me mad. Man do I sound negative. It must be the meds I am on. Honestly knowing that I am a mother when so many cannot be, knowing that I have four precious healthy children means more to me than anything else.

I did the same thing with the Royal Wedding. Since it was already on, I watched for a while. It wasn't a big deal to me though.

I just realized how long it has been since I visited!!!! I have to go catch up now. Happy mother's day! Hopefully you will get something wonderful, but maybe not. Oh well... that is what we are here for... to make Father's day wonderful, LOL!
