Good morning army wives. First I want to start with a question. Does anyone’s husband have sleep apnea and if so how does that work in the military? I saw the funniest thing this weekend. I have been babysitting for a friend while she was at the hospital having a baby. There house backs up to woods. They said it is actually a PT running trial. So yesterday I was letting the dog out and I saw little boys running around in the wood with fake guns. They were playing Army. I had to giggle. I guess because my son has always disliked all things Army. As I looked out the front windows I could see kids constantly outside riding their bikes and playing. It was a wonderful site. Not only were there kids everywhere but there was parents everywhere. This is stuff I did not see when we lived on post.
Last night we had small group. We are taking a parenting class while the kids are in AWANA. It dawned on me last night how awesome this class was because everyone in the class is in the military. And while there is only one command for children in the Bible it is nice to have other people who are going through the same thing. Most families either have both parents or one parent. But in military families you have both families but half the time only one parent is there. It was nice to hear how other people handle this.
I know I have rambled this week. This is what was on my heart.

Hi! So far this morning (6:30am central), we're the only two links up, so I thought I would stop by your blog. While I've never lived on a base, I used to live in some similar-sounding neighborhoods, surrounded by woods, little traffic, & a few houses where kids played in the yards & streets. It was nice back then, but I enjoy living in the city now that I'm older w/no kids.
I think i kind of have the best of both worlds right now. neighboors are not right up against me but still in a neighboorhood
hi, nice to meet another military blogger! I am new to blogging, but have created a site to provide resources to military wives and share some of my experiences. It's called "The Homefront." Please stop by and say hi!
