5 Question Friday

1. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you? This is really hard. About 9 years ago I decided if a teenage boy could do this zip line thing on a playground I could. Only I ended up falling half way across and landing on small pebbles. They were embedded up and down my arms, shins and feet. Luckily there was a nurse there to help pull them out. I refused to go to the hospital. I even drove home and then had to crawl through the house for days (maybe a day). Of course my husband was deployed and I did not want anyone to know how hurt I was. If that was not the most painful then it would have to be having my placenta pulled (ripped, tugged, scraped)out. It not only was the most painful but the craziest thing I have ever seen. I wish we could have recorded it. I swear my OB had his hand touching the inside of my breast (or close). You could see his hand moving around on the inside. I have delivered 5 babies and how crazy is it that the 2 pound baby gave me the most pain and weirdest delivery.

2. How much sleep do you get at night? Honestly, it has changed. If you know me you know by 9pm I am in bed and almost asleep. But recently it has been close to midnight and no matter what I am up by about 6:30am. I could sleep in every day and rarely do. To me sleeping is 7 or 7:30am

3. How long did you believe in Santa Claus? How did you find out that he does not exist? I think I was about 6, I saw a strawberry shortcake record player in the closet. My mom said it was for a friend but I knew better.

4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? I will tell but please do not tell my husband. I got annoyed one day and decided to go out for a few hours. So I went to the movie. I saw Life as we know it. It was really funny and because I went in the middle of the day there were only about 10 other people staring at me, wondering why I was there by myself.

5. What do you wear to bed? Honest, no judgement if I answer. Please do not judge. I normally sleep in just a t-shirt. But if I can get away with it I prefer to sleep in my birthday suit. Okay, I will say it I love being NAKED! I hate saying it but I love being it. Maybe not as much as I did 100 pounds ago but I still enjoy sleeping that way. No clothes to get twisted. But with four kids it doesn't happen often. And never in a hotel, how weird is that.

OUCH! That does sound painful... and what is it about a deployment that suddenly makes us hide stuff like that?! I will admit to that very same issue. (Hiding stuff... not the zipline... I learned in a diff way that I should never try to keep up with kids on a playground. HEHEEH)

Oh man, so sorry... I had a tangent in my comment for you!
Take care!
