For thanksgiving I made pumpkin pies. Did I tell you we cooked 195 pounds of pumpkin this year. So I made one pie with my pie feeling and one pie with canned pumpkin. It was hard to decide which one we liked better. My pumpkin had more flavor but canned had the better texture. So I think for now I will keep the pumpkin for things like muffins and pumpkin butter.
